The summer was full of fun kicking off with Joey and Trish’s wedding.  It was an absolute blast and we couldn’t be happier for the couple.  Tony was the best man and delieverd a great speech – so proud 🙂

After their nuptials, we enjoyed a few Mariner’s games and summer nights.  We headed east of the mountains for 4th of July with fantastic news for our family – a little Marino bambino was on the way in February!!  It was a nice long weekend to get away and enjoy our Anderson family cabin.  We played tennis, drank, ate and enjoyed the quiet escape from the city.

The summer wouldn’t be complete with out more than one wedding.  At the end of July we headed outside of Portland to see Lesley and Matt get hitched.  The venue was beautiful and there was an pretty cute groomsman too (read – Tony).  Another of our favorite couples to celebrate and boy was it fun!

August wouldn’t officially be kicked off without Seafair festivities.  We took the boat out on Saturday of the famous weekend to go watch the blue angels, drink too much (well minus me) and soak up some sun on Lake Washington.  Always a fun event – complete with water balloons of course.

We took a week off in August to do a roadtrip – read more in that post because there are too many things to cram in here from our site seeing.  The rest of August was spent doing landscaping and projects around the house to start getting ready for baby.

September started with the annual trip to Ellensburg for the rodeo and then a weekend of camping in Vantage with Tony’s family.  It was always a great time to see family from out of town.

Summer flew by but I’m excited for fall – football, comfort food and more…
